Bukowski's Everyone is a "Writer"
Everyone is a “Writer”
Plath could do it
Bukowski made it too.
Even Hughes, who rode his wife's
trail of tears to the finish line.
They all overcame the public's eye
and wrote their hearts out,
They had things to say,
and stories to tell.
But today, everyone is a writer,
and books like this are a dime a dozen.
A guaranteed staple in every girl's locker
or tucked beneath her bed.
And in all their heads they think,
'Plath could do it
Bukowski made it too.
Even Hughes, who rode his wife's
trail of tears to the finish line.'
—Charles Bukowski
